Vitamins and minerals

Zinc: Protects eye cells and nerve cells and, along with vitamin C, helps regenerate key tissue cells to promote healing of corneal wounds.

Vitamin C: A typical antioxidant that protects the eye from oxidation and protects the lens and retina from UV rays.

Selenium: As a mineral with high antioxidant effect, it has excellent stability and is essential for various antioxidant products because it has the effect of reducing oxidized vitamins and antioxidants through antioxidant action in the body.

Vitamin E: It is a fat-soluble vitamin and a unique ingredient with high antioxidant activity. It acts as an adjunct to other antioxidants and prevents the oxidation of lipids.



Natural antioxidants

Bilberry Extract: Traditionally known for its good eye properties, bilberries are high in anthocyanins that protect the eyes from UV rays. Ivizon Extra Strength contains 100 times concentrated bilberry extract.

Grape Seed Extract: One of the longest-studied plant antioxidants, it has been proven in several studies for its high antioxidant properties. Ivizon Extra Strength contains 95% of pro-anthocyanidins, which are converted into anthocyanins in the body.



Lutein and Zeaxanthin

Age-related macular degeneration is one of the leading causes of blindness in old age. Recently, 1 in 5 people over the age of 65 are experiencing age-related macular degeneration. The macula is a disc-shaped tissue made of yellow pigment located behind the retina, where ultraviolet rays are concentrated, and consists of lutein and zeaxanthin.

To prevent damage to the macula as you age due to continued exposure to UV rays, experts recommend taking lutein and zeaxanthin for eye health on a daily basis. In addition, these ingredients are considered essential for eye health as major antioxidants that can prevent oxidation of lipid components in the eyes.
